A long line of men wait outside a store front along the street. The men are mostly older. inside an older man in a suit gives a speech from a table with some other men on a stage. He sits down and points to a paper where an older man in an old hat signs. The man in the suit reads the paper into the microphone about an association for hobos. The well-dressed man to his right talks about different types of hobos and the purpose of the organization then introduces an older man, Robert Payne, who wrote “Why Work?”
