Two dogs fight over a bird carcass and the sultans come to fight as well. They struggle over the bird and then get angry at each other, indicated by their eyes turning red and brows tangling. Orbs of energy come out of the sultans and the river turns to flames. Both sultans return to their castles, and their soldiers play fanfares to declare war. The fanfares cause ordinary people to turn into soldiers. The river flames continue downstream, destroying a wagon, scaring some swimmers and sinking a boat. Both armies bring out cannons, while boys watch the action.
