Partly set in New York City, this 1950s quasi-PSA attempts to convince viewers that traffic is a serious problem in American neighborhoods and can be alleviated by, as a first step, writing to lawmakers.
Clip begins with many CUs of pissed off people sitting in their cars during rush hour traffic. The VO mocks the drivers stuck in gridlock for moving to the suburbs, never guessing that they would get crowded.
The scene changes to an aerial shot of a highway maze, and many other highway structures with the VO urging the watcher to demand more roads and highways.
The clip ends with a first-person shot of a car going through a tunnel while text appears that urges watchers to write their lawmakers - and to not honk their horns.
