Here's a 1970s clip of an American Indian reservation in South Dakota.

A sign on a water tower says "Pine Ridge Indian Reservation." This reservation is the area where the Wounded Knee Massacre occurred in 1890.

At a community center, women practice a dance while a drum circle of men play a kick drum turned on its side.

A young child is outside playing, and some lone elders are limping along the road.

The clip ends with a shot of a trailer home behind a broken barbed wire fence with two old sports car out front.
