1970s
A man in a blue blazer and turtle neck speaks to the camera. Behind him stand a man in an orange jumpsuit and helmet and a woman in a green dress. They are in an office. As the camera pulls back the man in blue holds a sheet of paper before him. He then reveals that he has two sheets in his hands and gives one copy each to the man and woman behind him. The man in orange dashes away, while the woman rushes to the Xerox machine. It appears they must race each other. The man in orange runs outside and jumps on his motorcycle. Meanwhile, the woman has her copy in the machine and is dialing a number on a rotary telephone. The man speeds down the street on his motorcycle as the woman hangs up the phone. The man is stuck in heavy traffic. A xerox machine working. The man takes a short cut through a garage. The staff shake their fists at him angrily. The xerox machine is still working. The man drives his motorcycle down steps. He buzzes through traffic and then jumps over a car. A man looks up in amazement. In an office a woman pulls a copy from the machine and a man stops a stop watch while speaking into a microphone. Seconds later the man on the motorcycle drives through the wall. The man with the microphone speaks to the camera, then to the man on the motorcycle, who promptly takes off and, to the man and woman’s obvious horror, crashes into a wall off screen. ‘XEROX’ appears on screen.
