A fast talking used car salesman begins his pitch to the television audience in a single take parody of low budget commercials. Ralph Carson at Carson’s Car O Rama reveals price tags on two 1967 sedans before coming to a Volkswagen Beetle and showing a substantially higher price than the others. Puzzled by what he thinks is a mistake he addresses someone offscreen and says it must be a mistake, walks out of frame. Narrator voice explains that VWs depreciate more slowly than other cars. Salesman returns to frame and touts forties sedan for seventy two dollars.
