A woman places a basket of cotton on the ground. She sits beside it and begins to flatten out the pieces of cotton with her fingers and rolling them out with a thin stick. She takes a large piece of cotton and beats it lightly with the stick. She rolls the cotton around the stick, and then attaches the cotton to another, thinner stick and begins winding the cotton onto this stick. Close up of the woman’s face. She has a number of piercings. She adds pieces of cotton to the yarn as she reels it.
