An excerpt from a Paramount musical short called “Black and Tan Fantasy (1929)” with Duke Elington and his Orchestra. Elington playing the piano, Two men come into Elington’s room and tell him that they’re going to take away Elington’s piano. Freddie Washington comes into the room and starts to negotiate by offering a drink. The men get drunk and leave the room without taking away the piano.
