This clip is about the voyage of the pilgrims on the Mayflower to Cape Cod.The clip opens on some children trying to blow up the ship’s store of gunpowder, but they are stopped. Some pilgrim women are gathered around a man with a book in his lap. One of the boys who tried to blow up the gunpowder is brought in by the ear; the adults shake their heads in disappointment. The man reads from his book, and the women listen. LS of the ship at sea, then there is a traveling shot of land from the ship, identified as Cape Cod.
