This clip showcases various events that took place at the Panama-Pacific International Exhibition, or the world’s fair at San Francisco in 1915, including car racing, a garden party, cow milking, Japanese wrestlers, and a baby parade. The first shot is a LS of cars starting a race, followed by a VLS of the cars zooming by. Many long shots like this follow, including one depicting a crash in which a car flips over. Medium shots of the winner come next, and then there is a cut to a LS of people walking to a garden party. A VLS shows a tented gazebo with people inside. There are several shots of people dancing at the garden party. Next is a WS of some cows in a line being milked. A medium shot reveals a woman performing this action. A quick LS shows what are described as Japanese wrestlers in a match. Two very fast shots of some Marines come next, then several shots focus on the baby parade. First comes a LS of the children in prams being lead down a street in parade formation, then a medium shot of some of the participants. After these shots come many more of many of the children at the fair, typically in WS. In the final shot of the baby parade sequence, two children bow for the camera. Next is a LS of some stables, followed by a panning shot of some horses preparing to go round the track. Two close-ups of horses are offered, then two long shots show the horses and carriages going slowly down the dirt track as the clip comes to an end.
