In this 1952 home movie, a group of people attend a potluck. The potluck takes place in a home located in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. Attendees are dressed-up. They sserve themselves food at large, banquet-like table, eat, and chat with each other while sitting in the home's dining area. 

Most people are wearing name tags on their blouses or shirts. And many are sipping tea or coffee from white porcelain cups. The entire gathering is somewhat formal. 

A number of people are in the kitchen, washing dishes. One man with a silver-colored pitcher pours perhaps water in the cups of guests who are eating.
