Shot of worker in factory handling steel wire. Narrator explains that it will be made into piston rings or wiggly toys. CU of machine shows wire being made into coil. CU shot of wire that is being pulled from the machine. Worker then grabs scissors and cuts the end of the coil. Worker takes it out of the machine rod and MS reveals a table with several other finished piston rings. Female worker places ring into machine that separates them into individual loops. Machine begins to cut the ring and sparks emerge. She takes the ring and brings it over to the table. She begins preparing the rings at the station to be worked with spacers and equalizers made of wavy strips. She places them onto a rod. Each spacer has been placed onto a rotating assembly machine. Each spacer while rotating is being individually dipped in oil. A station and row of workers show them arranging both spacers and coils together for packaging.
