This clip contains footage of a finger amputation as a form of exorcism.Begins with a group of men and women sitting in the corner of a hut, one man has his hands on his head as he speaks. VO states the man suffers from migraines. A healer/witch doctor blows into his hands then rubs them on the man’s head, arms and down to his fingertips. He then karate chops the man’s elbow a few times. Cuts to the witch doctor sharpening a knife on a rock while the ailing man places his hand on a flat rock and another man holds it in place. The witch doctor swings the rock onto the knife and amputates the man’s upper right pinky knuckle. CU of children observing. The witch doctor then throws away the upper knuckle and wraps the hand in medicinal leaves.
