Cuts to a plane on a tarmac. PAN of a neighborhood. Various shots of homes: shack, palace and a temple. Cuts to 2 men weaving with palm leaves. Then 2 women working with cotton, one softens it in a basket and another pulls it through a wooden contraption. A young girl watches the cotton become string on a type of spinning jenny.
