1970s
PSA geared towards fathers about anti drug abuse. Continuous shot of man shouting angrily at camera: "All right where the hell have you been?... You're a mess!... My father would've taken a belt to me! I wouldn't dare talk back to my father! I was afraid to! That what it is? You afraid to talk to me?" Shot of man looking in full-length mirror and shaking his head saying, "Wait a minute, where the hell have I been?" Shot of same man in living room speaking to camera more quietly: "Hey, I waited up for you I wanted to talk with you. You know, you're important to me. But there's something missing... we've been far apart lately." Shot continues as man kneels down and says, "But I do love you." Man continues, "I really do love you" as shot transitions to black with words "Fathers/ a message from the people of the national drug abuse prevention program."
