WS of dense crowd of people filling the wide sidewalk. A slow pan of Diego Rivera’s studio and its paintings (one of which is of workers in a factory). Diego Rivera holds paints while holding a palette. WS that shows the large scale of the mural he is painting. CU of Rivera painting the foot of the nude woman in the mural. People watch Rivera paint through the window in his studio. A still of demonstrators hold Artists Union posters that reads“Every artist an organized artist”. People pull a parade float down the street that shows cutouts of a fat man hitting workers on the head and knocking them down. A float that shows Uncle Sam in a gruesome unflattering way is brought through the streets in a horse drawn carriage.
