Overview of Cabaret Voltaire, the DADA artists salon in Zurich during WWI. Shot of the alley way outside the cabaret while the narrator talks about Cabaret Voltaire being a safe art haven while the war was going on “far, far away.” CU of the small sign outside the cabaret’s door. Montage of CU’s of handmade masks. A DADA poem that repeats “da da da da...” is also heard alongside the narrator. The narrator tell of Dadaism’s founding upon the opening of Cabaret Voltaire in 1916 during a shot of a window of the outside of the Cabaret. A sign on the window reads “Humor!”
