Footage of lunch counter sit ins/demonstrations against segregation in the South. Protesters march carrying signs (”1960 not 1860”). Young black individuals enter establishments with “white waiting room and restaurant” signs. Arrests are made and people are led to police vans. A black man gets milk thrown in his face at a lunch counter. A white restaurant owner stands at a closed sign. MLK gives speech about god given rights. Footage of a nonviolent march. MLK leads crowd and kneels in front of police officers. They pick him up and lead him to a police van, arresting him.
