Primarily footage of preparation for march from Selma to Montgomery. Group of black men attempt to enter a building and are stopped by police officers with their batons. Large crowd of people crouching on ground, with warm clothes on, possibly praying and with provisions for the march. Reverend Andrew Young give a speech to a crowd about the march they are about the embark on. MS of marchers crossing the street and down the street until they are confronted by a large crowd of police officers. Officers are ordered to disperse crowd and attack people. Horses stampede in as people are beaten by police. This is footage of Bloody Sunday. Martin Luther King gives a speech reassuring people of their right to walk to Montgomery and plans to move forward with such a march.
