A biographical film of Martin Luther King Jr and the civil rights movement. MLK gives a statement with three proposals/ demands for Birmingham. The demands are desegregation of all stores, restaurants, restrooms, better employment opportunities for black citizens, the dropping of all charges for arrested protesters, an bi racial administration and desegregation of public places like libraries. Segregation notice signs are taken down and thrown away. The new black administration under Albert Baldwell, and the white administration that refused to leave office walk around downtown.
