Audio is silent. Film starts with camera on a sign, reading "Radiation Area – Film Badges Must Be Worn In This Lab", then tilts up to reveal a scientist working in a lab. The scientist puts a white rat into a glass jar. Cuts to black for 30 seconds. The film shows two different shots of the same scientist looking at the rat in the jar, and then it cuts to black for another 30 seconds and the images of the scientist and the rat in the jar return again. The rat seems to steadily become unconscious as it is in the jar. As soon as the rat is fully unconscious the scientist pulls the rat out of the jar and lays it onto a small tray.
