The commercial opens with a driving instructor giving lessons to a young woman. She cannot put the car into first gear and the instructor is frustrated. They drive away and the car's bumper says "Student Driver". The commercial shows a series of driving lessons gone wrong. For instance a woman takes a left in the middle of the road instead of the intersection. A man stares off into the distance and wont respond. Another man says "Should I put the windshield wipers on?" while its raining. The commercial is for the AMC Rebel model. The commercial markets that the Rebel is good for new drivers.
