He is riding along the parade assembly of planes in a car. Troops salute the King as he continues to inspect the planes. Various bi-planes and fighter planes are shown taking off and flying in formation. In Oklahoma City, Wiley Post, a famous aviator who was the first pilot to fly solo around the world, has died. A large crowd looks on as his casket is carried down the street to Fairlawn cemetery. In Glendale, California, Wil Rodgers's casket is on display. People file by in a roped off line past the casket. In Universal City, there is a memorial service for Rodgers and a number of people have gathered in front of a stage. A large picture of Rodgers is shown in closeup. At the Wee Kirk of the Heather chapel and cemetery various Hollywood stars and celebrities have gathered to pay their respects.
