Opens with a shot of the a church at a college campus. Students walk through campus in between classes. Then shots of hippies. One hippie who is on LSD is wearing a cape with purple stars attached and doing mediative dance movements outdoors. A young woman lights a flame under a spoon to inject methedrine, an amphetamine stimulant . She uses a needle to take up the methedrine and injects it into her arm. She discusses the experience and her dependence on the drug. She says she tried to commit suicide several times. Narrated by Robert Mitchum.
