Assassins- Puerto Rican Rebels Attempt Truman's Life (part 2 of 2); Still images of the wounded after the failed assassination attempt are held up to the camera. We see images of the wounded in the hospital, and shortly after the attack President Truman walks to Arlington National Cemetery where we see a statue of WWII hero Sir John Dill unveiled. We see his veiled widow looking on. The wife and daughters of the would-be assassin are taken into custody. Many reporters take notes as the chief of the secret service and some of the secret service officers speak of the preceding events.
