1955
Detroit, MIch.; The Silver Cup regatta on the Detroit River brings us images of speedboats racing past the camera, long trails of steam and water following them. Along the shore in the background, a smoke stack from a factory is visible, and at one point a bridge. Various other objects are seen in the water as the boats pass, including a duck, a buoy, what looks like a ferry. We see the official wave the checkered flag at the finish line.
Ike Returns- Sees Progress at Geneva Conference; June 1955; President and First Lady Eisenhower deplane in Washington DC. A large crowd (with umbrellas) greets them, including children, reporters, and Vice President Nixon.
