This '50s clip shows news from various places - specifically, Spain, Reno, and New York City.
First, Spain. We see a parade of tanks driving down streets surrounded by spectators during the eighteenth anniversary celebration of the end of the Spanish Revolution and communism in the country. Planes fly overhead in formation. We see Prime Minister Franco and his family as they watch. Soldiers march past in formation.
Next, is Reno, Nevada. We see a parade at the first convention of Midgets of America. Then checking into the hotel and gambling, we see them climb ladders to get to the mainstream hight.
Lastly, New York City. A jet-propelled french helicopter, the Alouette, takes French movie stars around New York City, in its introduction to the US. We see the view from the helicopter, as well as views of the helicopter in the air, in front of the New York Skyline and the Statue of Liberty.
