The first newsreel depicts a Navy vs. Army football game. MS of the football game and crowd in the stands. Navy wins and the team huddles together. A balloon is released with a cloth that says Navy on it to signify the win. In the second newsreel, the United Nations gathers to vote for the Secretary General of the World Body. People come up to the stage and put their votes in a ballot box. U Thant is elected unanimously. The third newsreel shows a model of a "supersonic jet" in France.
