1989
This late '80s clip shows exterior shots of the Xerox company's PARC facility in Palo Alto, California - right in the heart of Silicon Valley. PARC is also known as Palo Alto Research Center.
Begins with signage of PARC. We see lots of green lawns and leafy foliage. The buildings on the campus are modern and serious-looking and reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright structures.
We see the inside of an empty building with large windows. An empty street stretches into the distance. Some buildings have multi-levels and plants growing on their roofs. An orange, lemon, or tangerine tree grows from a planter.
No people are seen. The atmosphere is a mix of eerie and dull.
