A group of students returns from recording outdoors. The classroom is held in an outside auditorium. The composer plays their tapes as they hold a discussion about what they heard. Off to the side, another student is sitting on a chair as she changes the nobs on a TV and radio. Meanwhile, the instructor is changing the speed and volume of the tapes on a machine. After it is finished he switches the tape to be played backward.
