Clip is mostly home movie footage of scenes on a lake, circa 1940s, presumably in Northern California.

Begins with an animation of Popeye and Olive Oyl as they battle a waterfall. Olive holds on to a branch or rock that's protruding from the waterfall while Popeye swims up the falls. He eventually makes it to land, and Olive super-extends her leg to him and uses her arms to climb herself to safety.

Three seniors, in old-style one-piece bathing suits, wade through the lake. Man makes humorous strong-man poses on the beach. Young boy swims vigorously, takes a dive from a pier, and paddles a row boat.

Exterior shots of a cottage beside the lake. Three young adults are under an umbrella on the beach. One seems to be deaf, using sign language.

A banner reads "Ludwig Apartments," and the apartments stand nearby. Man and woman on horseback wave at camera. Woman holds a plate of possibly vegetables and communicates with the camera and camera person using sign language.

Kids pull a boat ashore. Older folks with swim caps splash each other in the water. Man with kids dive into the water and splash about. Man signs at the camera. People sunbathe on a dock, and a boy wades through the water in an inner tube.
