This clip shows the POV of a car driving on a highway, passing through what appears to be Rockland County, New York, during the summer of ’66. Rockland County is west of the Hudson River and a few miles north of Yonkers, NY.

A sign states “Passenger Car Toll 50 Cents.” The car pulls up to a toll. Another sign says “New York State Thruway.” The car approaches and travels over a steel-like bridge and passes a body of water, homes, residential buildings, rocky hillsides, and forests. The car moves down the highway towards a red-orange sky and a low-hanging sun.
