This ‘70s clip is a promo for the magazine TV Guide. In this issue of the magazine, Bea Arthur, an actress, comedienne, and singer, is profiled. At the time, Arthur played the lead role as Maude Findlay in the television series Maude, which ran from 1972 to 1978.

The promo’s narrator says the public often confuses an actress with her role. In the case of Arthur, she isn’t as opinionated as Maude. The narrator also says Arthur believes one thing for sure, that “there is no one quite like me [i.e., Bea Arthur].”

The narrator says that Arthur’s story is in the latest issue of TV Guide. The cover of the issue shows three slightly overlapping head drawings of Arthur. And one headline on the issue’s cover reads, “Politics on TV: Issues or Images?”
