Footage covers the Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival in 1979. Half Moon Bay is a city roughly 30 miles south of San Francisco.

A banner for the festival hangs across the street, attached to a telephone pole and street light. People and cars travel beneath the sign. A family is gathered around and poses with a scarecrow. People ride a horse-drawn carriage down the street. People walk past vendors along the roadside, viewing what is for sale; looks like a bona fide flea market. Two men sing and jam on their guitars on stage. Three boys pose behind an enormous pumpkin; perhaps they are the winners of a pumpkin-growing contest. Families browse through a vast field of pumpkins; the field is whimsically covered with the color orange.
