B-roll of New York City during the day in the early 1980s.

Begins with an aerial, wide shot featuring the Statue of Liberty in the foreground and the the southern part of Manhattan in the background. The Twin Towers loom over all other buildings and structures in the distance.

Aerials over lower Manhattan are followed by aerials over and near Central Park. For the Central Park aerials, the camera looks westward toward New Jersey it seems. There are also aerials over buildings and locations that have not been identified.

The clip ends with a sequence of Manhattan locations, including: the Vanderbilt YMCA; East 53rd Street at 2nd Avenue; Rounds, a “gay” bar; Gay Street at Waverly Place; Ninth Circle Steak House; Christopher Street; Washington Square Park and its famous arch; and zoom-in shots to a cushy apartment's window and to a building of lofts, frequented by hungry, curious pigeons.
