Here's an early 1970s clip of Los Angeles, focused on wide shots of buildings and traffic in the downtown area as well as several places on Wilshire Boulevard.

Some landmarks seen in or around the downtown area include: the Alexandria Hotel on South Spring Street, the Hayward Hotel’s marque on 6th Street, Pershing Square and the Biltmore Hotel and nearby Temple Baptist Church sign, the One Wilshire office building on South Grand Avenue, and the twin black tower buildings on South Figueroa Street near West 6th Street. 

Some landmarks off of Wilshire Boulevard seen include the La Brea Tar Pits and the building currently called the Town House building, which includes a sign of Sheraton West.
