From insane pornographic cartoons to marionette strippers, experimental sex to bizarre stag films, this is one night of the strangest smut you'll ever see. One of the earliest stag films, Getting his Goat (1923), a man is in for a surprise when he propositions sex through a hole in a gate. Eveready Hardon heads to the beach in the outrageous cartoon Buried Treasure (1928). Nudism: A Way of Life (c. 1950) sheds light on the rise of nudist culture in Mid-Century America. Get ready for the disgusting pornographic animation featuring music by the Beach Boys and a vegetable gang bang (literally) with Sandy Sunrise in the Babysitter (1971). One man strips his inhibitions and his clothes when he walks into a North Beach nudie show and becomes the star attraction in a slice of local home-made homoerotica, The Groping Hand (1968). Experimental filmmaker Scott Bartlett creates a lyrical poem out of the flesh and fantasy of Lovemaking. A drunk old farmer tries to tune in to naked ladies on his new TV set in the bizarre and notorious nudie cutie Uncle Si and the Sirens. We all know sex sells; learn the tricks of its best sellers in a Special Edition segment on Frederick's of Hollywood (1970s). Burlesque queen Betty Dolan is half-woman, half-devil and all erotic in the expertly costumed and innovative Satan-tease (1955). Plus more bizarre burlesque, The Fabulous Cat Girl struts her stuff and the marionette striptease The Doll Dance with Rene and Arlene. And perhaps the most insane piece of smut we've located within these fertile walls, the man on stuffed animal flick, Beaver Boy (1968) will be double projected with nature footage. From 1923 here’s one of the earliest stag films ever made starring Creighton Hale (from D.W. Griffith’s “Way Down East”). A man peeps through a knot hole on a group of girls and gets more than he bargained for.
Buried Treasure (B+W, 1928)
The Granddaddy of pornographic cartoons, persistent rumors suggest that Max Fleischer (Betty Boop and others), Paul Terry (of TerryToons) and Budd Fisher (Mutt & Jeff) were responsible for this bawdy masterpiece. The legendary porno cartoon with a boogie woogie piano soundtrack depicting the unlikely adventures of the perpetually aroused title character (Eveready Hardon) with, among others, a man, a woman, and a cow. You’ll laugh and the guys may even scream!

An unbiased and unabashed exploration of the nudism movement which first gained popularity in Germany in the early 20th Century. While the narrator claims to be objective, the lingering shots of partially disrobed women seem to indicate otherwise. This bizarre slice of homoerotica was shot in San Francisco’s North Beach in the heyday of free love. A hunky male gets all revved up gazing at the live sex show signs and clubs on Broadway when he’s beckoned in by a female hand. Once inside he cuts loose, “stripping” his time away to down and dirty soul music.
Lovemaking (1970, color)
The famed experimental film by film-pioneer Scott Bartlett. A delicate and arousing treatment of lovemaking. Simple and classic, combining technical mastery and personal restraint. The image is vivid subtle and ambiguous while the sound is sharp and clear. Bartlett's film often form and interaction between film material and photographed image by combing complex analog film effects with film and video images to create a lush colorful, and layered flow optical and auditory information. Burlesque queen Betty Dolan brings new meaning to the phrase dancing with the devil. Cleverly costumed, Miss Dolan's right hand is the hand of the devil and she can't stop it from trying to get to third base. Strange and erotic on many different levels, it must be seen to be believed!

A sexy blonde gets her frisky feline on in this offbeat burlesque number.
Doll Dance, a 1930s Burlesque tit for tat dance number with Arlene and Rene. Both ladies are lovely, only Arlene has someone pulling her strings.
Decades before the rise of “furry” culture, Beaver Boy (1968) is the touching story of a young man, reading quietly by himself, who is propositioned by a fox puppet, a proposition too good to pass up. Due to the uncomfortable nature of this film, it will be double projected with nature footage of foxes in the wild.
Kat Shuchter is a graduate of UC Berkeley in Film Studies. She is a filmmaker, artist and esoteric film hoarder. She has helped program shows at the PFA, The Nuart and Cinefamily at the Silent Movie Theater and was crowned “Found Footage Queen” of Los Angeles, 2009.
