Commercial for neighborhood watch for Great Britain; a flock of blackbirds descend upon a house with a window open and proceed to ransack the place: picking at valuables, destroying belongings, and leaving the place in disarray; as they leave and look for another house, the next house has locks appear on doors and windows, neighbourhood watch labels posted on the windows, and the occupant of the home keeping watch on their own and their neighbour’s homes; the birds fly away, discouraged; male voiceover: “you’re not helpless! You can do something! If you fit proper locks, thieves will think twice. They’ll keep away if they know you’re watching out for them. You can prevent crime! (as this point, the blackbirds fly into the sky and metamorphose into a banner saying-) Don’t let them get away with it!”
