Commercial for Bounty absorbent paper towels; a woman is in a diner campaigning for a political office while two women and Rosie the waitress observe and anticipate that something will spill; the woman knocks over cup of coffee, and Rosie appears with half of a Bounty paper towel to quickly wipe up the spill; the woman wants proof that it’s quicker; Rosie, proves that it’s quicker by having the woman wipe up two spills; another woman unfolds the Bounty towel, amazed by its absorbent quality, and then Rosie puts a full cup and saucer on the wet Bounty-which doesn’t break; now that everyone’s convinced, they all cast their vote for Bounty to be the quicker picker upper, and Rosie rips a sheet in half and says, “half a sheet will prove it!”
