Bob Hope on stage. Cut to man on side of stage saying, “Ain’t funny.” Hope responds. Hope introduces Harry James Orchestra and Frank Sinatra as he’s walking off stage. Curtain parts to darkly lit LS of band on both sides with Sinatra walking out in the middle, singing “Saturday Night Is the Loneliest Night of the Week.” Camera continues tracking in until it gets to a MS of Frank and moves over to Harry James playing. LS of Sinatra tracks in to MS and end of the song. Stagehand yawns and reads newspaper. Shot of the audience applauding. Sinatra bows, lights go dark, curtain draws back. Hope comes back out to thank Frankie.
