Cuts to MS of 2 prostitutes on the sidewalk, one covers her face with her purse. Cuts to MS of a woman talking in an open car window, then walking away, she covers her face with her purse. Cuts to MCU of 2 women on the sidewalk, one covers her face with her hand, the other smokes a cigarette and looks into a compact. Cuts to MCU of Darlene, a 16 year old prostitute with heavy eyeliner, she sits on the couch. The rest of the clip is of Darlene’s interview about running away from home at 13 and becoming a prostitute, she says prostitution aged her, made her lesbian, and resent men.
