A dating “how to” classic. Very campy. Happy-go-lucky teen Alan Woodruff (“Woody”) receives a free ticket for one couple to the upcoming Hi-Teen Carnival. After much hesitation (and a pep talk from his girl-savvy older brother), Woody decides to ask Ann Davis to be his date. At crucial moments in the film the narrator stops the action and presents Woody with several possible options for his actions. The most critical moment, “How do you say goodnight?” is resolved with a heartfelt handclasp.
