Reenactment of Columbus’ first voyage to the Americas. His second in command visits a native tribe and hands them a scroll, which the village chief does not know what to do with. They also pass around a cigar, which is meant to be inhaled through the nose. Columbus captures some natives, which he says he wants to bring back to show how obedient they are.
