He mentions he's drafted this same letter six times but wasn't satisfied with it. He requests that Tom write back to him, but not to put his return address on the envelope because he fears his parents will ask questions. The clip concludes with the title of the film and shots of downtown San Francisco from the vantage point of a moving cable car.
