The clip opens with footage of the Ford factory. Businessmen walk into the factory. More street footage of Detroit is shown. Model-T cars are all over the streets and people occupy the sidewalks. A Ford help wanted ad from that time is shown. A family reads the ad and considers applying for a job. A man begins work at Ford and eventually gets a car for the family. They celebrate in the kitchen. Back in the factory, the ten millionth Ford Model-T is built. To celebrate, they plan to drive it across country from New York City to San Francisco, via the Lincoln Highway. On Broadway street New York, a parade is held for the cars departure. The drive's objective, once arrived in San Francisco, is to deliver a letter from Mayor Hylan of New York to Mayor Rolph of San Francisco.
