Queen Elizabeth arrives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and is given a grand welcome by Haile Selassie. Crowds cheer for them as they drive through the city. Together Queen Elizabeth and Haile Selassie arrive at a palace that's guarded by lions. Footage of tribal warriors are shown. The narrator explains that these are the same warriors who fought against the Italians, with only spears and horses. Before leaving Ethiopia, the queen visits the grand stadium where school children preform a dance. In San Francisco, the first soldiers to be deployed to the Vietnam war return.
