France; A man and woman prepare their gear for the parachute jumping competition of France. A plane takes off and then from above we see a competitor dropped out of a plane, falling to the earth. We see close-up shots of the judges' table and spectators, including three boys with binoculars. Other competitors fall quickly through the sky then float to the ground one their parachutes are opened. One man's parachute gets caught in power lines.

Sports (part 1 of 2); August 1953; American Indians dressed in their traditional clothing come riding to the rodeo in Pendleton, Oregon, where spectators watch a bull riding competition. A man tries to control his bucking horse as other riders look on. Then we see a man successfully bulldogging.
