This '70s clip shows records being made, popular record covers of the '70s, and people listening to records.

Begins with labels being stamped onto records. Labels are pressed and records are stamped. A woman wearing gloves puts records into sleeves and then places them into albums. Records move down a conveyor belt and are wrapped in cellophane by a machine.

Record albums line a wall inside a record store. A man looks at records near a sign that reads, "Popular Standards." On display are The Beatles' "A Hard Day's Night," The Carpenters' "Close to you," Elvis' "Let's be Friends," Peter Frampton's "I'm In You," and Kiss' "Love Gun." There are also classical albums.

A woman reads in bed and listens to a record playing on her bedside. A record spins as a man sleeps.
