The therapist Carl Rogers conducts an interview with "Mr. Lynn," a patient frustrated by his homosexual tendencies. Lynn suggests that when you say that you're queer you are automatically set apart and put into a stigmatized group that robs you of your individuality. He goes on to talk about homosexuality as an abnormality, and whether or not homosexual individuals are truly abnormal. Nevertheless, Lynn feels as though he is in a class apart.
