Clip is a commercial for Dutch Boy Paints.

Footage begins with a steady zoom-out shot of a plaid-wearing person, painting the front of a large, white, sub-urban-looking home. The narrator tells us that our home is no place to take chances with, especially when it comes to paint. The narrator tells us that, at the Dutch Boy “testing grounds,” they take the chance out of the equation. The narrator says Dutch Boy has been testing their paints for more than 50 years on all kinds of surfaces like wood, metal, and masonry to make sure that their paint can stand up on the homes of their clients.

In the final shot, the narrator tells us that, with Dutch Boy, there is quality on the inside, but a Dutch Boy on the outside. The camera focuses on the Dutch Boy logo - a boy wearing overalls, an Oxford shirt rolled up to the elbows, and a quasi beret, sitting while painting - on the side of a can.
